It certainly doesn't hurt that Jung Ho-yeon has famous friends of her own. Just recently, she posted a photo with friend and BLACKPINK member Jennie, who was visiting the Squid Game set.

Lee Jung-jae, Ho-yeon's Squid Game co-star, also recently opened his Instagram account and quickly racked up a huge following on the social media site. As of this writing, the actor has 1.5 million followers. His first post, which shows him in a car and smiling at the camera, has already amassed 1,491,757 likes and more than 40,000 comments.

Park Hae-soo, who played the character of Cho Sang-woo in the series, also opened his Instagram account. His first post is a photo of him wearing a suit with the post already getting 738,499 likes. Jung Ho-yeon can be found in the comments section saying “Finally!!!”

While these Squid Game stars achieve social media milestones, the Netflix show also introduced Filipino actor Christian Lagahit or Chris Chan, a Filipino working in South Korea as an English teacher and who portrayed player 276 in the show.
