Vickie Rushton pens appreciation post for Francis Libiran for creating her dream wedding dress

Newlywed Vickie Rushton wrote a thank you letter to renowned fashion designer Francis Libiran who created her wedding gown and the barong tagalog of her husband, Jason Abalos.

She wrote, "To @francislibiran8, it's been a week but I still can't find the right words to thank you because I know a simple thank you will never ever be enough.

"[Ten] years ago, I added you on Facebook. It was just one of my dreams to wear your creations. Little did I know I will be wearing you in my life's most important and significant moments. It all started when I joined PBB, then BBP, special events in between, and now, as a bride.

"Thank you for being open to our ideas and incorporating it into your design. YOU DID IT AGAIN! You made the most perfect wedding dress - my dream wedding dress. I can't thank you enough for the dresses you made for me - not one but three!

"Thank you also for the one-of-a-kind Barong with (Baybayin of Baba) for Jason. Thank you also for adding details to Toto Kian's barong. Thank you po talaga.

Vickie also detailed how much of a good friend Francis has been to her since her pageant days. "You are not just a designer to me but a dear friend. I may not say it often but you are special to me. Thank you for being a positive light in my life - thank you for the guidance and for giving me life advice all these years. I'll never forget what you asked me to do before when I was going through something (when you get home, write 10 things about… and pray for it) and it happened. You've always taught me about the law of attraction. Hihi! We may not see each other often but when we do, you always have the right words to make me feel at ease. I always leave the atelier with a happy heart. I appreciate and love you, Dada, and Harry. Sana makabawi po kami sa inyo.

"To the FL team, thank you for your time and effort during our fittings. We appreciate all of you. Maraming maraming salamat po."

"Thank you and we love you, @francislibiran8 @francislibiran."

The 30-year-old Vickie has been joining beauty pageants since her younger years. Her first crown was the Mutya ng Pilipinas--International 2011. She was crowned as the first runner-up in the Binibining Pilipinas 2018 pageant in 2018.
