Migo Adecer gained culinary skills during the quarantine

By Marah Ruiz

Kapuso actor Migo Adecer has learned an important life skill while staying in Hong Kong with his girlfriend during the quarantine.

In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, he shared that he has learned how to cook.

"I've taught myself some new dishes. Or more like my girlfriend has taught me some new dishes because I'm a terrible cook," Migo jokes.

His current favorite is this casserole which they make with taco mix, cheese, and orzo, a rice-shaped pasta.

"We've been experimenting with some casserole. We've got, I forgot the Italian name of it but it's like rice but it's pasta. It's not risotto but its something else. We put taco mix on top and then a little bit more of that rice kind of pasta and then we sprinkle our cheese on top," he shares.

They also sometimes make it with chicken and eat it like how you would sushi bake.

"We'll also do the same but instead of taco mix, we'd do chicken and make teriyaki chicken. Then we'd buy some nori from the Asian shop just down the road, seasoned. We'll cut the casserole, put it in the seaweed and eat it while watching Netflix," Migo says.

He also marveled at how delicious the dish was despite having simple ingredients.

"It's just wow! I'm just telling you, you have not had a real food orgasm until you've tried this. It's orgasmic!" he says.

Migo flew to Hong Kong before travel restrictions were set in the Philippines due to COVID-19.
