Are you an avid comic book fan or a sketch artist? Have you ever wondered what you'll look like if you were to get sucked into a 2D world? Well, you can now sort of make that a reality by visiting the Kurimi Milk Tea Bar in Tomas Morato, Quezon City.LINK:

The 2D-themed milk tea shop actually has two branches in Quezon City: one in Tomas Morato and another in Loyola Heights.

Aside from different variations of milk tea, they also serve fruit teas, coffee, and cream cheese-infused drinks.

From its exterior to its interior, the whole establishment is painted over to resemble a black and white storybook or monochrome sketch.

Beautiful sights in Japan such as Mount Fuji, skyscrapers, and cherry blossoms are painted on the walls of the café.

The whole look of the milk tea bar is very reminiscent of the popular Greem Café in Seoul, South Korea, which was inspired by a K-drama starring Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo.LINK:

In an interview with GMA News TV's 'Bright Side,' Managing Director John Chung said that their Tomas Morato branch currently accommodates eight customers at a time, which is half of the maximum capacity, in order to abide by safety protocols, set by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).

He also gave an important wardrobe tip for those who want an Instagram-worthy selfie in their milk tea bar: wear either bright colors or anything black.

“Since monochromatic yung design natin, maganda siya na solid yung colors ninyo. 'Pag solid (colors), medyo magpa-pop up yung look ninyo.

So, if you want to have delicious milk tea and an amazing selfie against a 2D background, you now know where to go in QC.
