By Racquel Quieta

November is World Vegan Month. It's that time of the year when vegans celebrate and promote the vegan lifestyle.

Although the long-term health benefits may outweigh the disadvantages, it's honestly difficult to transition to a vegan lifestyle, especially if there is limited vegan food available in the supermarket or in restaurants.

So, to celebrate World Vegan Month, here's a list of vegan restaurants in Metro Manila with delivery services to help you in your journey to veganism, or even if you're just curious and want to try vegan food.

Greens

Greens is one of the OG vegan restaurants in Metro Manila that has been around for almost two decades.

Their menu consists of completely plant-based food--meaning no meat, no fish, no eggs, and no dairy.

Their restaurant is located at 104 Sct. Lozano Street, near Tomas Morato, and they're open for dine-in, pick-up, and delivery.

8tables

8tables is a vegan resto in the Novaliches area that offers vegan versions of many Filipino favorites such as kare-kare, kaldereta, and binagoongan.

Good Food Vegetarian

Good Food Vegetarian is a Cubao-based vegetarian/vegan resto that serves different lunch sets every day. Each lunch set is worth Php100, while ala carte orders are priced at Php150. There's a Php10-peso charge for a red rice upgrade.

Pipino Veg

Pipino Veg is a pure Filpino vegan resto nestled in Malingap Street in Quezon City. They have a plethora of vegan offerings such as vegan sinigang, embutido rice, chocolate cake, bagoong, taro chips, and nori chicharron. Soon, they will also be adding vegan burger to their menu.

Little India

If you're craving Indian food but need vegetarian or vegan options, then you must try Little India. They're also located in Malingap Street, Teacher's Village in Quezon City. You can order their food thru Grab Food, Foodpanda, or their official website.

Harvester's Vegetarian

Harvester's Vegetarian is a vegetarian Chinese restaurant located in the Banawe area. Nevertheless, they have scrumptious vegan food too like the vegan sushi, and the vegan sea cucumber with vegan kidney. For orders, simply send them a DM on their official Facebook account.

With these mouthwatering vegan food options available online, it seems like many will be inspired to go vegan and never look back. Enjoy, mga Kapuso!
