PBA player Kevin Alas remains positive after suffering from another anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. This is the third time that the former Letran ace experienced this knee injury.
The management of the NLEX Road Warriors released a statement on Monday, November 20, assuring everyone they will support Kevin's recovery and rehabilitation.
“The team is currently assessing the extent of the injury and formulating a plan for Alas's recovery. Our prayers are with Kevin for a swift and successful rehabilitation.
“During this challenging time, we are committed to providing Kevin with unwavering support, resources, and encouragement.”
According to reports, the husband of sportscaster Selina Dagdag got injured while playing against Terrafirma Dyip last November 18 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
In his Instagram post, Kevin thanked everyone for their prayers amid his health struggle. He wrote in the captions, “Thank you to everyone who's been praying and encouraging me.”
Kevin, who was part of the Team Gilas Pilipinas that secured the gold medal in the 19th Asian Games, received tremendous support from fellow athletes amid this trying time in his basketball career. Check out here:
