In an exclusive interview with GMANetwork.com, Joshua Bulot, Bryan del Rosario and Kim Ordonio of the Kapuso millennial trio JBK look back at their personal experiences to share effective ways to mend a broken heart.

1. Travel

People say traveling is the best cure for heartbreak, and this holds true for the members of JBK.

Joshua explains, “In traveling okay siya kasi you meet new people, you see more places. Kumbaga nakikita at nare-realize mo na malaki 'yung mundo at marami ka pang pwedeng gawin.”

2. Indulge in your comfort food

You might lose your appetite but you cannot deny that eating your heart out brings comfort, too.

For Bryan, he prefers going on food trips. He says, “Comfort food. Syempre nandyan lahat.

3. Workout

Give yourself some relief from stress and pain by working out. Exercising boosts the release of endorphins, the so-called “feel-good” chemicals.

Bryan says, “Workout kasi you'll release endorphins 'di ba. It's the good hormone na i-release ng body to fight anxiety, depression. Happy hormones.”

4. Improve yourself

Nursing a broken heart is actually an opportunity to work on yourself.

5. Find an outlet

Feel all those heavy and confusing emotions and release them into a creative outlet. For Bryan, writing them down, and possibly turning them to music, is a good purge.

He says, “As in kung ano 'yung nafi-feel mo at that very moment, isulat mo lahat. Basta anything, isulat mo lahat. Maniwala kayo sa akin, you'll get surprised after niyan parang nilabas mo lahat. Ang gaan.”

6. Surround yourself with good company.

No one can make you feel better than people who are rooting for your healing and success. Surround yourself with good company, and for Joshua that means spending time with family.

He explains, “Eto 'yung the best.
