According to experts, there's a proper waistline measurement that we should maintain to ensure our body's well-being.

For Filipinos, women with over 31-inch waistline and men with over 35-inch waistline have a higher risk of having Type 2 Diabetes and heart diseases.

In a plate, three essential food items should be present.

Half of the plate should be vegetables, preferably the green leafy ones. A quarter should be fiber-rich carbohydrates potatoes and brown rice. The other quarter is for protein-rich food, specifically white meat like chicken breasts and fish.

“Iwasan po natin yung pagkaing mataas sa taba at 'yung mga high fructose katulad ng soft drinks at fruit drinks na artificial,” said Dr. Mia Fojas, an endocrinologist.
