Cancer survivor Wil Dasovich reflects on his life two years ago

By Maine Aquino

Celebrity vlogger Wil Dasovich took to Instrgram today, July 12, to reminisce about the time he was diagnosed with cancer two years ago.

In a lengthy post, Wil shared that he was dreaming at that time how to live a normal life again.

“2 years ago I was sitting in a hospital bed only dreaming about living a normal life. What did normal exactly mean to me? It meant being able to move freely, to run again, exercise. To not be bound by weekly hospital visits and the chemical infusions that drained my body of energy and life. To not have to worry about a compromised immune system so that I could see my friends again, and be able to simply hangout with people. I was living in quarantine for 6 months in 2017 before it became the cool thing to do! ”

Wil continued by telling how he felt the joy and sense of relief to live a normal life now.

“The irony is that when I reflect on these harsh moments, it brings me joy and a great sense of relief as I'm able to recognize that I am currently living that 'normal life' which at one point I was only able to fantasize about. Most of us are living in this true to life dream of good health, and many of us take it for granted because we don't know what it's like to not live in good health.”

The social media influencer said that his goal is to promote with his followers to live a healthy life.

“Aside from entertainment, my main goal in everything I do is to promote a healthy lifestyle and share as much knowledge as I can with those who want to learn.”

Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, and Raymond Gutierrez were mentioned in his post as his inspiration in his journey.

“To those who have become some of my best friends and huge inspirations in my life @solennheussaff @nicobolzico @mond - these relationships were formed through this company and now there is 1 more who will be joining the family! I rarely say family because I think it is casually thrown around a lot and overused, but with this group I really mean it!”

To end his post, Wil said that he is looking forward to seeing the rest of 2020.

“Can't wait for what the rest of 2020 holds! #WereBack #LiveBetter #TuloyAngBuhay”
