Bossa Nova Queen Sitti Navarro has joined the long list of celebrities who contracted COVID-19 amid the latest surge in new cases this January.

Sitti recently shared videos of how their family is dealing with her isolation period. She is currently quarantining in a bedroom with her second child, Osseah Lucille, whom they nicknamed Lucybubs.

Sitti's youngest daughter is only three months old and is still being breastfed.

The Bossa Nova Queen said she consulted with their pediatrician and OB-GYNE doctors and was advised to continue breastfeeding because the baby's need for breastmilk is greater than the risk of her contracting the virus.

Sitti was also told that her youngest child needs to be quarantined with her, because since she's breastfeeding her, the baby is considered her close contact.

“It may be selfish of me but I'm glad that I'm not isolating alone, that I'm at least with one of my kids,” reads the text in one of Sitti's videos.

The singer and mother-of-two also said that although she's praying for the best, she's also preparing for the worst and is not disregarding the possibility that her baby may catch the virus eventually.

Sitti also showed a video of her eldest child, daughter Issiah Dañelle, whom they call Lilibubs, getting emotional as she cannot go near her mom and Lucybubs.

In the video, Lilibubs can be seen standing just right outside Sitti's bedroom while talking to her father.

Sitti emphasized to her followers not to open the door of a quarantine bedroom like they did as children can easily catch COVID-19.

The Bossa Nova Queen also said that she was already in Day 3 of her isolation yesterday, June 13.

She shared that her first symptoms were a headache and a feeling that she was about to get a cold.

The following day, she had a clogged nose and body malaise with an occasional headache. This prompted her to get tested for COVID-19, and her test yielded a positive result.

A few days before Sitti tested positive for COVID-19, it was her husband Joey Ramirez who first caught the virus. Fortunately, his symptoms were mild and he has already finished his isolation period.
