Former beauty queen Miriam Quiambao-Roberto after recovering from the coronavirus: “It feels sooo good to be negative!!!”

Miss Universe 1999 first runner-up Miriam Quiambao-Roberto has recovered from COVID-19.

The beauty queen-turned-television host announced the great news yesterday (January 20) through a social media post, where she shared a photo of herself holding an antigen test with a negative result.

She wrote, “SA WAKAS NAKALAYA NA AKO!!!! Oh, it feels sooo good to be negative!!!”

“Thank you to all [who] prayed for us! Thank you, Lord for healing us!” she added.

In the comments section, local personalities such as Sitti Navarro, Christine Babao, and Joy W. Sotto expressed their happiness for Miriam's recovery from the contagious disease through meaningful messages.

On January 11, Miriam's husband, Ardy Roberto, revealed that his wife had tested positive for COVID-19.

Among those who contracted the virus include Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, GMA News pillar Arnold Clavio, Miss Grand International 2020 1st runner-up Samantha Bernardo, Mars Pa More host Iya Villania, and actress Ina Raymundo.
