Lovely Abella stays positive despite getting COVID-19 for the third time
Despite all the challenges that have come her way, actress and comedienne Lovely Abella remains positive in her outlook on life, even though one of the things she's experiencing right now is being tested positive for COVID-19.
Aside from testing positive, Lovely also talked about her Facebook account getting shut down for a lengthy post on Instagram.
The former Bubble Gang star sees what's happening to her in a positive light, crediting her faith for her outlook.
“Nagkasabay-sabay, pero still okay ako, at walang worries. Third time na akong nag positive sa covid at sumabay pa ang FB ko na na-disabled nanaman, pero still nakangiti ako kahit may sakit,” she said.
She added, “Iba pala talaga pag may LORD ka sa puso mo, dahil walang worries lahat dinasal ko na sa kanya.”
The actress-turned-business owner also mentioned that she might've tested positive for COVID as a sign so that she can rest, and have her Facebook disabled so that she won't have to read “toxic posts” and not get stressed.
“Kaya nating isipin lahat ng positive sa negative na nangyayari sa atin, tayo ang tutulong sa sarili natin para di masyadong mastress sa kabila ng sitwasyon natin,” she said.
In August, Lovely announced that she tested positive for the virus for a second time and reiterated the need to be vigilant as the virus is still around.
“Nagpapaalala na nasa tabi tabi lang siya at di nawawala, nagpapaalala na mag iingat pa din tayo lalo na ang iba di naman nag iingat, nagpapaalala na ibalik ang dati kung paano tayo katakot sa kanya,” she said.
Lovely said that while these things might be frustrating and stressful, it's just a way to get closer to the Lord.
“Si LORD ang nakakaalam ng lahat, ilapit lang natin sa kanya ang worries natin,” she said.
She then thanked her husband, Benj Manalo for staying with her, unafraid of getting the virus, and her family and friends who are praying for her swift recovery.
“Hindi ko to kakayanin kung wala ang asawa ko sa tabi ko @benj na di natatakot mahawa sakin, family and friends ko na nag dadasal sa paggaling ko,” she said.
