LOOK: Heart Evangelista hung out with a homeless man and his stray dogs
Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista stopped by Gilmore station yesterday to thank a homeless man for giving his spare food for stray dogs in need.
On Twitter, the Kapuso actress shared a snippet of her sitting on the steps while wearing an all-white ensemble with Kuya Jun and his dogs.
She wrote, “On my way home and I find this angel… minding his own business being guarded by his own angels sent by God.
“If you see him along Gilmore, say hello. His name is Jun… a hero, an inspiration.”
The touching photo was posted hours after Heart found out that her dog Casper, a white Maltese, was missing.
According to the actress, the dog was last seen in New Manila after her housemaid forgot to put on the dog's collar.
“My dog Casper is missing. Along New Manila… please help us find him.
“He will not make it without us. We need him and he needs us! Please help,” she captioned along with Casper's photos.
Five hours later, Heart's furry friend was finally found and even thanked a certain driver on social media.
“Thank you so much! I am in tears at this event I needed to attend. So touched! Thank you so much to everyone who helped! And to the kuya driver that picked him up!
“Thank you Lord! Casper is home!!!”
Casper is one of Heart's five dogs in Manila.
The Kapuso actress is an active campaigner of the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), advocating about helping dogs get adopted, especially the Aspins (asong Pinoy).
