Michael V. pokes fun at his 'Hermes' face mask

By Cara Emmeline Garcia

Sometimes, the best way to combat a serious illness is with silliness.

This has been proven by Kapuso comedian Michael V. after he flaunted his DIY Hermes mask a la Heart Evangelista on Instagram yesterday, March 15.

On the social media site, Bitoy playfully wrapped the ribbon of the luxury brand in his face and placing a surgical mask on top.

He then said: “I must be doing something wrong…” tagging the Queen of Creative Collaborations.

Bitoy then gave his two cents on the situation and advised his fans to remain indoors for the time being.

“Be safe with your families everyone,” he wrote.

“P'wedeng tawanan ang mga jokes pero community quarantine is a serious matter. 'Pag nagkasakit ka (kahit hindi COVID-19) at dinala ka sa ospital, there's a chance na mahawa at makahawa ka.

“Kaya make the most out of your time. 'Pag hindi matigas ang ulo, mas mabilis matatapos 'to.”

In the comments section, Heart commented that she thinks Bitoy's rendition is “the best” out of all the DIY masks she's seen so far.

It was on the evening of March 11 when the idea of jazzing up a face mask with an old Hermes ribbon sparked in the Kapuso actress' mind.

From then on, fans of Heart have been doing their DIY masks and tagging the actress to showcase their wonderful creations.
