By Aaron Brennt Eusebio

Actress Aiko Melendez fulfilled her promise to promote and support small online businesses as she gave free shoutouts to them in her latest vlog.

Aiko also promoted her children's businesses--Andrei Yllana's Obra Lokal products and Marthena Jickain's Cookie Marthens

Some businesses that Aiko promoted are milk tea shop Chachago, Happi Sushi Bake, and The Hungry Foodlum.

In a post on Instagram last July 23, Aiko promised to support locally-made, and small businesses in celebration of her channel's 100,000 subscribers.

As of writing time, Aiko's YouTube channel has over 99,000 subscribers.

“I'm excited to share to all my almost 100k subscribers on YouTube that as my way of helping small business during the pandemic, I will feature some products, food that I believe in, [and] all those who are deserving of shout outs from me,” she wrote in the caption.

“Yes, you read it right, not only in my IG stories but in my YouTube channel as well.

“This is my way of thanking everyone for subscribing to my YOUTUBE channel.”
