The Craft

The Blumhouse Productions, producer of hit horror movies such as Insidious, Paranormal Activity, and The Purge, is debuting a TV series this Halloween titled The Craft: Legacy, which is a sequel of the popular '90s teenage witchcraft movie The Craft.

The original movie starred Neve Campbell, Robin, Tunney, Fairuza Balk, and Rachel True, while the witches in the sequel will be played by young stars Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone, Zoey Luna, and Nicholas Galitzine. Actors Michelle Monaghan and David Duchovny is also part of the cast.

Get ready to chant “Light as a feather, stiff as a board.” See the trailer below.

Hocus Pocus

The legendary witches from the '90s fantasy comedy-horror film Hocus Pocus are reuniting this Halloween for a good cause. Hocus Pocus stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy will be reuniting and reprising their roles for a virtual event called "In Search of the Sanderson Sisters: A Hocus Pocus Hulaween Takeover."

The said online event will replace Bette Midler's annual "Hulaween" costume gala, a star-studded fundraiser organized by her non-profit organization New York Restoration Project (NYRP).

Scream

Scream is one of the most popular slasher films in the '90s. It gave birth to the iconic Ghostface Killer character that has been a favorite Halloween costume inspiration by many for over two decades.

The Scream film series has four movies so far which starred Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, and Roger L. Jackson, the voice actor for the Ghostface killer.

Other stars who appeared in Scream films are Rose McGowan, Drew Barrymore, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Jerry O'Conell, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Live Schreiber, Hayden Panettiere, and Emma Roberts.

News about a fifth Scream movie have surfaced as early as 2011. But during her recent appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Scream star Neve Campbell confirmed that the fifth installment of the film franchise is already in the works.

She told Kelly Clarkson, “It went out the window for a while, but I'm leaving in three weeks to go shoot.”

Courtney Cox and David Arquette will also be reprising their roles in the new Scream movie, along with Marley Shelton who appeared in the fourth Scream film.

However, fans would have to wait until January 14, 2022, as this has been the announced tentative date for the fifth installment's release.

So, yeah, the fifth Scream movie won't be out this Halloween. But hopefully the great news about their shoot resumption is something that'll make you happy this Halloween season.
