Sophie Albert could have taken the easier path to get into showbiz since she came from a very influential family. Despite this, she tried her own luck in 'Artista Academy,' the defunct artista search of TV5 in 2012.
In one of her past interviews, Sophie said that she didn't want to seek help from the Cojuangcos to prove herself in the industry. She wanted to make a name for herself without depending on anyone else, even if she's Kris Aquino's niece.

In 2017, she became an official Kapuso. She signed a co-management contract with GMA Artist Center.
Before joining 'Bihag,' Sophie showed off her acting prowess in the drama series 'Pamilya Roces,' 'The One That Got Away,' 'The Stepdaughters,' 'Sherlock Jr.,' and 'Victor Magtanggol.'
The actress also guested in such GMA drama anthologies as 'Magpakailanman' and 'Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko.'
Sophie may not be the original choice to portray Amber in 'Pamilya Roces,' but she has proven that she deserved the role. Needless to say, she is an effective comedienne.
