Shaira Diaz is incorporating her love for South Korean culture in her upcoming wedding to Edgar Allan Guzman.
In the January 15 episode of Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Shaira revealed their wedding is happening this 2025.
"This year na po 'yan, and sa gown naman po, bibilhin ko siya sa Korea."
The Lolong actress shared why she wants to have her wedding dress made in Korea. "Kasi sa sobrang love ko ang Korea, ang culture nila. Mahilig ako sa K-drama, K-pop, BTS. So gusto kong somthing very personal sa akin."
Shaira and EA chose a Cavite location for their special day, Shaira said, 'Yung lugar po sa bandang Silang para po tahimik, away from the noise ng city. Doon po lahat, church wedding po ito, my dream wedding. Very intimate lang po, close friends."
Among her celebrity friends who are included in the wedding are Arra San Agustin, her Unang Hirit co-hosts Kaloy Tingcungco and Anjo Pertierra, and actress Julia Montes.
“Lahat, nandiyan sila, excited sila. 'Yung mga naka-witness ng love story namin from the very start, nandiyan po sila,” said Shaira.
Shaira happily detailed how EA supports her in planning their wedding and agreeing to her choices.
"Walang away, walang pressure, walang stress," she said.
She also had a piece of advice for Lolong co-star Ruru Madrid, who is in a relationship with actress Bianca Umali.
"Lagi kang magugusto sa gusto ni Bianca."
"Siyempre, kailangan 'yung communication, pagiging honest, open, transparent, respect, 'yung tatlong 'yun para sa akin talaga."
