But aside from new fads, there were also new online personalities whose stars have seemed to align and so they suddenly skyrocketed to fame. One of them is on YouTube, Pinoy architect, Oliver Austria.
During the lockdown, views and subscriptions to his YouTube channel saw an astounding increase, thanks to his reaction videos to homes of showbiz and online celebrities.
Viewers seem to have found a new appreciation for architecture because of Oliver's lively and sometimes funny commentary, which he pairs with easily digestible architectural lessons or hacks that he delivers in a very friendly tone.

Oliver has found his niche on YouTube as the entertaining Pinoy architect who does reaction videos to celebrity homes and shares his architecture know-how in the process. He has 1.45 million subscribers at this writing. He reached the 1 million subscribers milestone in August 16, 2020.
His YouTube account with the handle OliverAustria is actually his second account created on October 12, 2019. .
His first YouTube account has the handle llyanaustria, which he started back in November 6, 2012. It has around 151 videos and 19,934,345 views.
In case you're wondering why his first account's handle has a different name, it's because his complete name is actually Llyan Oliver Austria. You'll often hear him referring to himself as Llyan in his videos.
Oliver's signature expression is “Mad dudes!” and he calls his followers the Mah Dudes Army.
Oliver is based in the City of Pines and also finished college there.
Oliver ranked fifth in the 2016 Architect Licensure Exam with a grade of 81.5 percent
Oliver was also the only student from Saint Louis University in Baguio who made it to the top 10 of the 2016 Architect Licensure Exam passers.
In one of his videos uploaded in January 2020, Oliver confessed to having struggles back when he was a student. He revealed he was an irregular student who had a few delayed subjects because he failed in some of them. And before he shot to fame on YouTube, it took him seven years to graduate from college.

His first-ever content on YouTube, which was uploaded on his first channel back in June 16, 2017, was a how-to DIY wood succulent planter video. He made a cameo on the video but didn't speak in front of the camera or do any voice over for it. It currently has 14,174 views.
His first video uploaded on his second channel was a review of the Nike Jordan 1 Basketball White Red for men, which he bought from an online shopping platform. It was uploaded on October 18, 2019 and currently has 61,188 views.
His “Architect reacts to big brain workers 2” is his most-viewed content on his first channel. In the video, Oliver reacted to workers doing unbelievably awesome things while working. It was uploaded last April 3, 2020 and currently has 2.8 million views.
Oliver's most-viewed video on his second channel is his reaction video to the late Lloyd Cadena's house. It was uploaded on July 17, 2020 and now has 6.5 million views.
In Oliver's most recent vlog, he did a vlog girlfriend reveal. He introduced his girlfriend named Crystal and revealed that she is cameraman number 2 and does 90% of the house designs, including Casa de Dogie, which is the house they're designing for another YouTube star Akosi Dogie.
Oliver also gave a tour of their studio number 2, where he plans to do more reaction videos to homes, as well as new types of content such as gaming, Gundam-building, and music content where he'll do drum covers.
