Meet K-pop vocal queens MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO

MAMAMOO is a K-pop girl group consisting of four members namely; Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa. The so-called K-pop vocal queens made their official debut in the industry last June 18, 2014, with the release of their single “Mr. Ambiguous.” MAMAMOO is under the management of South Korean music recording company RBW.

Solar

Kim Yong-sun, known by her stage name Solar, is the main vocalist, visual, and leader of MAMAMOO. She was born on February 21, 1991, making her a Pisces. As the eldest member of the group, she is the so-called “mom” of MAMAMOO. Unlike any other K-pop artist, Solar has a bright, bubbly personality that can easily radiate good energy.

Moonbyul

Moon Byul-yi, known by her stage name Moonbyul, is the rapper and performer of MAMAMOO. She was born on December 22, 1992, making her a Capricorn. This ultimate performer created the group's debut song's choreography and is a rap goddess.

Wheein

Jung Whee-in, known by her stage name Wheein, is the vocalist and performer of MAMAMOO. She was born on April 17, 1995, making her an Aries. She's one of the funniest K-pop artists that exist in the industry and she calls herself the Snack Queen because of how much she loves food.

Hwasa

Ahn Hye-jin, known by her stage name Hwasa, is the main vocalist and main rapper of MAMAMOO. She was born on July 23, 1995, making her a Leo. Despite being the maknae of the group, Hwasa is often mistaken as the eldest because of her mature, sophisticated look. She's also a well-known game-changer in the industry because of her can-do attitude. Apart from being an artist, Hwasa is also good at variety shows.
