SEVENTEEN showcases real talent on 'Killing Voice'

By Jashley Ann Cruz

Last May 31, Dingo Music uploaded a new episode of Killing Voice on its YouTube channel and this time featured famous Korean boy band SEVENTEEN who showed their undeniable talent when it comes to singing.

If you haven't heard of it by now, Killing Voice is a fresh concept from Dingo Music that has been going on for quite a while now. The show usually features skilled vocalists singing a number of their songs live. What you're hearing are their bare voices only and nothing else. No auto tunes or anything.

Some of the Korean artists invited for Killing Voice were Taeyeon, IU, LeeHi, AILEE, MAMAMOO, RAIN, among others.

SEVENTEEN really outdid themselves during their episode without even trying so hard. All the 13 members were there all together, casually singing, laughing, and making jokes with each other while they sing their self-produced tracks.

Some of the songs they sang on the show were “Mansae,” “Snap Shoot,” “Don't Want to Cry,” “Dar+ling,” “Very NICE,” and the title track for their newest album HOT.

All of the SEVENTEEN members stood out as they sang their own parts from each song and turned the show into their own mini-concert. Carats all over the world were very proud of their boys especially since it has been trending on YouTube up until today.

Killing Voice paved the way to showcase the great talent of SEVENTEEN often overlooked by people and even encouraged others to become part of the fandom.

Along with their talent showcase in Killing Voice is the release of their newest album Face The Sun as well as the sizzling music video of the album's title track “HOT.”
