Despite her hectic schedule for her upcoming concert ‘In Control,’ Julie Anne San Jose accommodated her fans and supporters via a live question-and-answer session on Facebook.

Here are some of the things the Asia’s Pop Sweetheart revealed and that you need to know:

1. Julie has successfully juggled her time among her school, showbiz commitments and personal life. How did she set free her inner “Superwoman?”

“Sobrang driven ko lang talaga when it comes to doing things that I really want. Kasi syempre ‘yung priority ko school ‘di ba, tapos ginagawa ko rin, kumakanta ako, nag-e-entertain ako ng mga tao.  Those are the things na sobrang mahilig, sobrang mahal ko talagang gawin. Hindi ko iniisip na nakakapagod siya kasi gusto ko nga ‘yung ginagawa ko, ‘tsaka mas nati-thrill ako, mas natsa-challenge ako every day.”

2. Julie shared words of wisdom to fans who aspire to be her but lack the courage and confidence to express themselves. She recalled how she produced videos and online mini concerts to express herself and consequently reach a greater audience for her talents.

“Just keep on doing what you’re doing, and believe in yourself na kaya mong gawin ‘yung gusto mo. Lahat accessible na eh, may internet, may YouTube, may social media.”

3. Julie was open to address her detractors and bashers. She admitted that she would usually shrug them off or understand where they are coming from. Nonetheless, she sends them a message.

“Ipagdadasal ko na lang kayo na magkaroon kayo ng peace of mind and sana alam niyo ‘yung ginagawa niyo kasi ang mga nang-aapak ng tao, walang pinatutunguhan. ‘Tsaka hindi tayo dapat ganun kasi iisa lang naman ang goal naming mga artista or mga singer, ‘yun ay makapagpa-entertain.”

4. Julie claimed that she’s willing to collaborate with former love team partner Elmo Magalona.

“Oo naman. Wala namang problema sa akin, basta maganda ‘yung piyesa ‘tsaka maganda ‘yung iko-collaborate namin. I’m open to any naman na collaborations.”

5. Julie has been soaring high both personally and professionally. What else does she want to add under her belt of accomplishments?

“Gusto ko maging astronaut, o kaya pilot talaga.”
