Dingdong Dantes's YesPinoy Foundation Inc. celebrates its seventh year
Aside from being an award-winning actor and a dedicated husband and father, Dingdong Dantes is also a strong advocate in empowering the youth. Out of this advocacy came YesPinoy Foundation Inc. (YPF), which is now on its seventh year.

On its Instagram account, the foundation talked about Dong and how he has led YPF since 2009.
"Outside the spotlights of the Philippine entertainment industry, award-winning actor Jose Sixto “Dingdong” G. Dantes III works on matters pertaining to youth, environment and education. In August 2009, with the support of his friends, he created the YesPinoy Foundation Inc. (YPF) to help bridge the resource gaps in education and reach out to out-of-school youth.
Initially, Dong wanted to focus on providing full college scholarships to sons and daughters of fallen Philippine Marine soldiers, since he himself is a marine reservist who is very much aware of the common soldier’s plight. However, in response to prevailing societal issues, YPF’s core program grew to include the development of Young, Empowered and Service-oriented Pinoys."
The post also mentioned the Alyas Robin Hood star's efforts in helping the victims of typhoon Yolanda in Estancia, Iloilo.

"Dong led the Foundation in soliciting support for the construction of the school building and the “One Chair, One Child” Project in Estancia, Iloilo City, an area severely affected by Typhoon Yolanda. He also spearheads relief drives and volunteer operations in partnership with the government and private institutions. Leadership symposiums were also organized in various provinces as part of the Foundation’s Project 888."
It also presented the foundation's current projects, which includes being the National Youth Commission's partner for #NowPH.
"At present, YPF, under Dong’s chairmanship, serves as the planning and implementing arm of [the National Youth Commission] for #NowPH or Not On Our Watch Philippines movement, a youth-led climate action and disaster risk reduction and management campaign, and works closely with #PediatricaBOT for its #ParaSaKalusugan Project."
