Kapuso actress and TV host Camille Prats is just grateful for all her blessings.

A widow for six years and having to raise a boy, the Kapuso star is thankful for her complete and growing family this 2017. It all started when she bid goodbye to her four-year long distance relationship and got married to the love of her life, John “VJ” Yambao.

Family life just keeps getting better for Camille Prats after four months of being married. “Masaya at the same time, it’s a lot of adjustment.”

She is pertaining to the years she raised her nine-year-old son Nathan all by herself.  “I got so used na ako lang ‘yung point of authority, but with VJ coming in and being a part of the family, talagang I had to adjust to a lot of things.”

The Mars host had to consider her partner having a say in the family, “Like make him decide sa mga bagay or ask his opinion about certain things so parang hindi ako sanay. I think it’s part of the changes that comes with being married.”

She sees her husband as a blessing in her life as well as in her son’s. “I’m really happy about ‘yung bond niya with VJ. Doon ko lang na-realize na when he started becoming part of the family, [I saw] how important is the role of a father.”

There are just some things she can’t deal with her son like playing rough so she is grateful that VJ is there to fill in the role. “Their bondings are way different from how we bond so doon ko na-realize how blessed we are for having a family na meron siyang daddy na matawag at makakalakihan,” the TV host told GMANetwork.com in an exclusive interview.
