LOOK: Mike Tan looks back on the day he proposed to his wife

A year after Kapuso actor Mike Tan proposed to his non-showbiz wife, the Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka star reminisced about that important day in Batanes.

Mike shared the story through an Instagram post.

He wrote, "Whenever I see rainbows, I am reminded not only of God's ability to create indescribable beauty but also of the faithfulness and grace He showed Noah and the rest of mankind in Genesis 9. Last July 8, 2017, after receiving approval from her parents, I asked my now wife to marry me."

He then recounted what happened after she said yes. "Our friends noticed that there was a rainbow in the background so they immediately took a photo of that moment. I've always known that she was God's best choice for me but having that seal of approval in the sky was more than enough validation from God."
