South Korean actor and former member of the boy band U-KISS, Alexander Lee, has graduated from Korea University in Seoul, where he took up Journalism and Mass Communications.

He announced the good news by sharing his graduation yearbook photos on social media, on Thursday, February 27.

On his Instagram post, Alexander posted a series of photos from his yearbook and some group pictures with his batchmates.

He wrote, “Even though my graduation ceremony was cancelled/postponed, at least I got my graduation yearbook.

“Stay safe everyone, n hopefully after the st*pid COVID-19 is gone, we could have a proper graduation ceremony.”

Korea University postponed this year's graduation rites due to COVID-19's threat to the country as the number of virus-hit patients spiked to more than 2,000 as of Friday, February 28.

The 31-year-old initially studied Communications at De Anza College in California prior to entering the K-Pop industry.

Then, he went back to school in March 2014 as a way of fulfilling his and his parents' dream.

Alexander rose to fame in the Philippines because of his stint in the now defunct Kapuso series titled My Korean Jagiya alongside Heart Evangelista.

The series premiered on August 21, 2017 and ran until January 12, 2018.

During his stay in the country, the actor got to experience Pinoy culture like riding a jeepney, eating street foods, among others.

Her on-screen partner Heart even threw a birthday party for him when he celebrated his 29th birthday in July 2017.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Alexander expressed his gratitude towards his Pinoy fans that supported his show in a video uploaded on KPOP and Culture Fest's Facebook page.

"The drama is over finally! Thank you thank you very much, maraming salamat po for all your support and every night, you guys make us trend, and you guys [find] ways to help me promote it.

“I really really thank you. I hope you guys enjoyed the whole show, I hope you guys felt kilig. I was kilig myself while doing it," he said.
