Shakespearean actor and Star Trek: The Next Generation star Sir Patrick Stewart has launched a personal project on his Twitter account.

He plans to read a different Shakespearean sonnet daily for his 3.3 million followers.

He was inspired to take on this personal challenge after he received a great response after reading Sonnet 116.

"I was delighted by the response to yesterday's posting of Shakespeare's Sonnet 116, and it has led me to undertake what follows...," he wrote on Twitter.

He then launched his series with Sonnet 1.
