Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is celebrating his 31st birthday today, June 17.
While the milestone is a celebration in itself, the incumbent Mayor is asking for a single thing this year and that's for people to help one another amid the coronavirus pandemic.
On Twitter, Vico gladly thanked his followers who greeted him on his natal day and said that the only gift he can ask for is for people to donate relief goods to help those in need.

In a follow-up tweet, Vico also mentioned that he's not one to celebrate his birthday especially with mass gathering events still prohibited by the government.
He warned, “Pakiusap na wala munang celebration o surprise party.
The mayor even jested, “Papunta na po akong opis ngayon.

President Vico?
Age also seems to be the main reason why Vico Sotto is deviating from comments revolving around the topic of running for the presidency.
In a separate interview for Vice Asia, he shared that while netizens mean well when it comes to making those remarks, he'd rather focus on the current task at hand.
He declared, “Right now, I'm here. I have to focus on the job that I was elected to do.
"And frankly, I think people at this point should just stop it with all of that because now is not the right time for that.
“First of all, I'm only 30 years old.
“I'd appreciate if people would stop that. I know some of them are well-meaning, some may just be making jokes--whatever their reasons are.
"But at this point, we should just stop and focus on the task at hand.”
