Barbie Forteza and Chynna Ortaleza took acting lessons from renowned actress Cherie Gil's masterclass.

Kapuso actresses Barbie Forteza and Chynna Ortaleza attended seasoned actress Cherie Gil's acting masterclass on Tuesday, July 7.

The two were joined by several aspiring actors who also sought new acting skills and methods from the renowned actress.

In an Instagram post, Chynna gladly said that what she has learned from the class were “jewels of a lifetime.”

“So I joined Cherie Gil's Masterclass! Day 1 done and the insights I learned are jewels of a lifetime. I Love being an actor!” she wrote.

This just shows that although Chynna and Barbie already excel in their chosen fields, they still want to improve and learn new perspectives about their craft.

Their fans commend their initiative to further enhance their abilities and left messages of praise for them.

Meanwhile, Cherie previously shared that she created her own acting syllabus where she compiled what she has learned from her mentors and own experiences throughout her 45-year acting career.

“I created my own syllabus. Very personalized and shinare ko du'n 'yung aking process. Hopefully, I'm able to productively engage them,” she said.

Cherie Gil's acting masterclass will take place on July 9, 11, 14, 16, and 18. Its proceeds will be for the benefit of the Lumads and the children of Mindanao.
