Google pays tribute to Comedy King Dolphy on his 92nd birthday

In honor of Comedy King Rodolfo 'Dolphy' Quizon's contributions to the Filipino entertainment industry, Google paid tribute to the late comedy legend with an illustration. The tribute was made on his 92nd birthday.

“Today's Doodle celebrates the 92nd birthday of Philippine comedian, actor, producer, and philanthropist Rodolfo “Dolphy” Quizon, dubbed the country's “King of Comedy.” The star of over 200 movies and multiple long-running television series, Dolphy warmed millions of Filipinos' hearts for over six decades," it said.

His daughter Zia Quizon and former partner Zsa Zsa Padilla, celebrated Dolphy's birthday as well by sharing the said doodle.

With a career spanning over six decades and hundreds of movies and multiple long-running television shows under his belt, the Comedy King became one of the pillars of the Philippine entertainment industry.
