'Crazy Rich Asians' author Kevin Kwan reacts to Heart Evangelista's poolside photo

While she's busy with helping her husband Govenor Francis “Chiz” Escudero promote the province of Sorsogon, Queen of Creative Collaborations Heart Evangelista also knows the importance of taking a break from her busy schedule.

In fact, one of the ways she relaxes is by reading a good book.

Heart's recent Instagram post elicited a response from best-selling author Kevin Kwan, the creative mind behind the best-selling novel 'Crazy Rich Asians,' which was adapted into a movie and became a huge hit in 2018.

Kevin reacted to Heart's poolside photo of her reading Kevin's latest work 'Sexy and Vanity.'

The phenomenal Singaporean author even wished the Kapuso actress a good time as she pored over his book.

The two met and worked together in a Harper's Bazaar's special video feature two years ago. Kevin invited the Filipina actress-socialite along with some fashion influencers from Asia to the awe-inspiring Paris couture Week.

'Sexy and Vanity' is the story of Lucie Churchill, an American-born Chinese and the man of her dreams George Zao.

According to penguinrandomhouse.com, this latest book from Kevin is a truly modern love story and a daring homage to 'A Room with a View.'
