Billboard reveals top artists of 2020
Billboard had just released its year-end charts for 2020, including its list of overall top artists and those who dominated in specific categories.

Leading the list of Billboard's Top 10 Artists of 2020 is American singer-rapper Post Malone. It's the first time an artist topped the list for two years in a row since Adele in 2011 and 2012.
Post Malone's third album Hollywood's Bleeding performed well in the Billboard 200 Chart and he had a total of eight hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including his record-breaking hit “Circles.”
Plus, his two previous albums “Stoney” and “Beerbongs and Bentleys” continue to have successful chart runs.

Aside from taking the 9th spot on the Top 10 Artists of the Year, Taylor Swift is also Billboard's Top Female Artist of 2020.
It's her fifth time to be crowned as Top Female Artist. The other years she earned the recognition was in 2018, 2015, 2013, and 2009.
Taylor also gained her 7th number one album on the weekly Billboard 200 with her latest album Folklore, and her 6th number one song on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Cardigan.”

K-Pop group BTS is hailed as this year's Top Duo/Group. They're the first non-U.S. act to top the said list since One Direction in 2014 and 2015.
BTS also collected their 4th number one album with Map of the Soul 7 and had their first two number one songs on the Hot 100 with “Dynamite” and “Savage Love” remix.
Plus, they also took the top spot in Billboard's Top Social 50 Artists of 2020.
Other notable artists on Billboard's 2020 year-end charts are singer-songwriter The Weeknd, whose hit song “Blinding Lights” landed the number one spot on Billboard's Top Hot 100 Songs of 2020, and rapper Roddy Ricch who led the list of Billboard's 2020 Top New Artists.
