Pops Fernandez shows off beach body while on birthday vacation

The OG Concert Queen Pops Fernandez looked nothing short of sexy as she showed off her beach body on her Instagram account yesterday, December 13.

In her post, she is wearing a floral bikini top and hot pink swimming shorts while taking her birthday vacation in Ilocos Sur.

Pops turned 54 years old last December 12, yet the singer seemed to age like fine wine as she maintained her youthful appearance and fit physique.

In another post, she posted a short video of her enjoying swimming in the pool.

In the comments section, Pops's followers, including her celebrity friends like Geneva Cruz and Maritoni Fernandez, wrote their birthday greetings to the singer.

Meanwhile, The Clash prepared a surprise birthday celebration for Pops in a pre-taped episode aired last December 12.

Among her well-wishers are her manager Joji Dingcong, her mother Dulce Lukban, and sons Ram and Robin Nievera.

Pops can't help but cry tears of joy after hearing their birthday messages.

She then thanked The Clash for giving her the opportunity to fill in as judge as a reliever to Lani Misalucha who is currently recuperating.

Pops said, "Sinabi ko kay Direk Louie [Ignacio] na itong The Clash is such a blessing for me.

"Alam ko medyo sad po tayo dahil nami-miss natin si Ms. Lani but, for me, it became such a blessing.

"I love working with all of you. Maraming-maraming salamat po for the very warm welcome."

When asked about her birthday wish, Pops quickly replied, "Sana hanggang season 20, sana kasali po ako sa The Clash."

Pops's stint in The Clash started last October 24. She will remain as one of the judges of the competition until its finale that is set to air this weekend, December 19 and 20.
