Vanessa Hudgens captions her Instagram post: 'Mahal kita'

Filipina-American actress and singer Vanessa Hudgens proudly captioned her latest Instagram post in Tagalog.

As she looks classy wearing a green fancy hat, she wrote, “Mahal kita [I love you]” with a green heart emoji.

Large number of followers flooded her post with positive comments.

Some of her Filipino fans replied with “Mahal ka din namin! [We love you too!]”.

And some replied with heart eyes emojis and the Philippine flag.

Kapuso actress Max Collins also expressed her appreciation, by replying to her post with heart emoticons.

In 1998, Vanessa started her career in show business when she performed in a musical theater as a singer.

She rose to fame after portraying Gabriella Montez in the Disney Channel Original Movie 'High School Musical'. She starred alongside Zac Efron and Ashley Tisdale.

Aside from acting, Vanessa also loves to sing. She released her first debut studio album, V, on September 26, 2006.

Her second studio album was released on July 1, 2008. Both singles received promotion on Disney Channel.

Following the success of her singles, in 2018, Vanessa starred in the Netflix Film 'The Princess Switch'.

In 2019, she starred and served as a producer of the Netflix movie, 'The Knight before Christmas'.

The Filipina-American actress and singer also starred in and produced the 2020 sequel, 'The Princess Switch: Switched Again.

The Fil-Am star revealed last 2020, that she used to be a big fan of 'Adobo'.

Although Vanessa does not speak perfect Tagalog, She knows a few words and greetings like “Kumusta ka? [How are you?]”, “Salamat! [Thank you]” and as stated on her latest Instagram post, “Mahal kita [I love you]”.

Vanessa is the daughter of Greg Hudgens and Gina Guangco, a Filipina.
