Ruffa Gutierrez reveals father Eddie Gutierrez is cleared of prostate cancer

Actress and former beauty queen Ruffa Gutierrez recently revealed in an Instagram post that their father, Eddie Gutierrez, has been cleared of prostate cancer.

Ruffa is currently in the US and said that the weeks leading up to her departure has been an emotional rollercoaster due to the recent health battle that her dad went through.

Ruffa said in her IG post, “The weeks leading up to my departure for the US was tough. I experienced a tornado of emotions which I kept exceptionally private.”

She then shared the good news that her father has fortunately beaten the Big C.

“This much I can share: Dad had an operation and it was a success. He has been cleared of prostate cancer. Thank you, Lord! 🙏🏻”

Ruffa then went on to thank the medical professionals who took care of her dad and everyone who prayed for him.

“Our family would like to thank ALL the doctors and nurses who took care of Dad at St. Luke's Quezon City.

“Special mention to the BEST urologist and anaesthesiologist, Dr. Steve & Joyce Lim.

“He is on the road to a full recovery thanks to your expertise and pag-aalaga.

“Sa mga nagdasal para kay Dad, maraming salamat. You know who you are. ❤️”

She also sympathized with everyone else who are going through their own health battles privately.

“Sending LOVE to everyone who's trying their best to heal from things they don't discuss. Keep the faith, pray and stay strong. 🙏🏻”
