Darren Espanto to the Legaspi twins: “Two of the most genuine people I've ever met. Thank you for always being there, you two.”
Darren Espanto penned a touching birthday message for Kapuso stars and twin siblings Mavy and Cassy Legaspi as they celebrate their 21st birthday today, January 6.
Along with a series of photos of the 20-year-old singer with the Legaspi twins, the former began his lengthy post by expressing his gratitude to the birthday celebrators through the words, “HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, LEGASPI TWINSSS! Two of the most genuine people I've ever met. Thank you for always being there, you two.”
He then dedicated separate messages for the celebrity siblings, starting with the I Left My Heart in Sorsogon actor.
Darren continued, “To my brother Maverick, a.k.a. Derek Zoolander, feels like that dance prod we did as 15-year-olds was just yesterday and now you're turning 21. Thank you for being our designated driver, always.. Dejk lang. Thank you for being someone I can always count on. Always here for ya.”
The “Tama Na” singer also penned a message of thanks for the First Yaya actress, whom Darren considers as one of the strongest women he has ever met.
“To Cass, a.k.a. Jisoo (pagbibigyan kita kasi birthday mo naman), A HUGE thank you! You've been with me through my highs and lows and it takes a lot to deal with a Darren Espanto. Continue to be the badass that you are! You're one of the strongest women I've ever met and you never fail to impress us.
“You're always there for your friends and family but I wish you'd set aside some time for yourself as well, ok? I've always got your back!” he wrote.
Before ending his post, Darren wished nothing but the best and happiness for his dear showbiz friends.
He added, “I'm happy that the things you guys only dreamt of doing before are all coming true and this is only the beginning! I wish y'all nothing but success and happiness always. Love you both!!!”
Aside from Darren, Kapuso actress-singer Kyline Alcantara also sent her birthday greetings to the Legaspi siblings and even called Mavy “My Zac” in a sweet birthday message.
