Beatrice Luigi Gomez takes part in anti-discrimination initiative

Even without a crown, Beatrice Luigi Gomez is making sure to stand by her advocacies and make sure her voice is heard.

In a recent post on her Instagram account, the former Miss Universe Philippines and Miss Universe finalist shared that she had taken part in a life insurance company's events for the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, or IDAHOBIT 2022.

In the caption to the post, the beauty queen thanked the company for making her part of their initiative to “have a deeper understanding of what allyship entails, and to embrace our personal contributions into creating a safer and more equal world that celebrates the diversity of each person's unique sexuality and gender identity.”

Beatrice taking part in the initiative should not come as a surprise to anyone as the beauty queen was even taking part in a menstrual health seminar the day before she handed over her crown to Miss Universe Philippines 2022, Celeste Cortesi. The event was also a chance for her to reunite with Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu, who was also part of the advocacy.

Even before relinquishing her crown, Beatrice was one of the celebrities actively aiding relief operations for the victims of Typhoon Odette. She conducted relief operations in Mantayog, Mandaue, and prepared 300 packs of relief goods for relief operations in Compostela, Cebu.

Beatrice also distributed meals for those stranded in Cebu City ports during Typhoon Odette. Check it out in the gallery below.
