Ruffa Gutierrez is grateful at 48; posts cutest throwback photo of Lorin and Venice
Celebrity mom Ruffa Gutierrez is celebrating her 48th birthday today, June 24.
To mark her special day, Ruffa posted some throwback photos of herself with her two daughters, Lorin and Venice.
"Posting a throwback photo of us because so much has happened in our lives since this photo was taken in 2007.
"Countless ups & downs, heartaches & breakthroughs, failures & triumphs," she wrote in the caption of her post.
It can be recalled that it was in 2007 when Ruffa and her ex-husband, Turkish businessman Yilmaz Bektas, separated.
In the said Instagram post, Ruffa claimed that she is grateful to celebrate life as she turned a year older today.
She wrote, "Today, on my special day, I cannot be more thankful to be alive, happy, and healthy.
"Life itself is a beautiful gift. It may sound cliché but let's manifest that the best is yet to come. Happy birthday to me!"
Last June 10, Ruffa shared to the public that Lorin and Venice are flying to Istanbul, Turkey to reunite with their father Yilmaz after fifteen years in time with the celebration of Father's day.
"After 15 long years apart, a beautiful reunion will finally take place in Istanbul this weekend. #TogetherAgain," she shared.
Yesterday, June 23, Lorin and Venice flew back to the Philippines after 12 days of spending quality time with their father in Turkey.
"12 days with their father after 15 years of not seeing each other was certainly a trip Lorin and Venice will never forget for the rest of their lives. I can't wait to hear all about it when they get home in time for my birthday," Ruffa wrote in her post.
