The multi-awarded TV-movie actress Cherie Gil passed away at the age of 59.
A month after her mother's death, Bianca Rogoff poured her emotion into a love letter dedicated to the late showbiz icon Cherie Gil.
Dubbed by the entertainment industry as the “La Primera Contravida,” Miss Cherie passed away on August 5, after her brave battle against cancer. She was diagnosed with a rare form of endometrial cancer in October 2021.
Bianca, now ready to talk about what happened to her mom, began her Instagram post by saying, “I wanted to post when I was ready but I'm not sure I will be. So…
“I felt you today, guiding me with your lightness; easing my heart into love and compassion and straying away from negative thoughts. Thank you.”
She continued, “I felt you in the sun. It didn't rain, which felt rare. then in the laughter of my cousin as we sat sharing a juice. I could feel you and her dad, my uncle, smiling at us. It's amazing how far we've come.
“I feel you now as I write this - with a few tears coming down my face as the American couple next to me laughs while doing a puzzle. I think of your adventurous spirit - your laugh, asking “what's the plan, Eigenmann!” and saying “aaalright” when you were excited about what we came up with. wanting us to live life with joy and not taking things too seriously.”
Despite the pain of losing her mom, Bianca stated that she feels at ease knowing that her mother is finally free.
She wrote, “It comes in waves but what puts me at ease is knowing the ease you're feeling now that you are finally free - the true bohemian you always wanted to be.
“Before you passed you told me to go, and so I'm going. with and for you. I love you I love you I love you.”
Actress-vlogger Andi Eigenmann reacted to her cousin's heartwarming post by telling her that she loves her.

Israeli violinist Rony Rogoff has two children with Cherie Gil named Raphael and Bianca. The award-winning actress also has another son Jay Eigenmann with her ex-partner Leo Martinez.
