Joaquin Domagoso went back to being a kid on his 21st birthday
Kapuso actor Joaquin Domagoso went back to being a kid just as he celebrated his 21st birthday by playing a game of laser tag with his friends.
Joaquin celebrated his 21st birthday on October 24 at the LazerXtreme Manila, in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Laser tag is a recreational shooting sport where players use infrared light guns to tag targets worn by others in the game. It's usually a team game where a team loses once all members have been tagged.
In a message sent to GMANetwork.com, Joaquin said that he wanted to do something different for his birthday this year, which prompted him to celebrate his birthday by playing laser tag.
“I don't know what got in me pero siguro it's cause I didn't want to host a party o inuman this year,” he said.
He then added, “Tapos naisip ko na lang po mag-laser tag because back when I was seven years old, nag-birthday din ako doon and I remember how much fun we had back then as kids.”
Joaquin said that he wanted to experience the fun laser tag gave him back then which made him want to celebrate his coming-of-age birthday playing the game.
“I'm very glad na nagawa ko at naisip ko mag-laser tag. All of my friends had a good time,” he added, saying that a total of 20+ players played a total of four games each.
He admitted, however, that a lot of the participants got tired already by the last game so only a few of them remained.
Joaquin also expressed his birthday wish to live long and healthy for his family.
“Ang birthday wish ko is to live a long and healthy life so I can always be there for the people I love,” he said.
In September, Joaquin's girlfriend Raffa Castro shared never-before-seen photos of them together, celebrating their monthsary. She expressed how her best friend for five years became her end game, and how much she loves the actor.
Meanwhile, in an interview with Modern Parenting, former mayor Isko Moreno revealed that Joaquin already has a son and how he felt blessed that he's now a lolo. He also expressed how happy he is for his son for the blessing of having a child.
