Bea Alonzo is now a legal resident of Spain

Kapuso star Bea Alonzo is now a legal resident of two countries after Spain has awarded her a Golden Visa, which confers legal resident status on her in the European country.

Speaking to media in Cebu City, Bea shared that her €500,000 - P29,515,048 based on current exchange rates - investment in a Madrid apartment has made her eligible for Spain's Residency By Investment (RBI) program. It was just last month that Bea shared the Madrid apartment that she bought with her mother and her 11 million Instagram followers.

As a legal resident of Spain, Bea can now travel in the Schengen areas of the European Union even without a visa, as well as work in Europe and even apply for Spanish citizenship in two years. Her mother, Mary Anne Ranollo, can also avail of these benefits.

According to the Manila Bulletin, Bea considered pursuing acting opportunities in Europe but stated that it was not something she was actively pursuing.

“Parang ilan lang ang oras. 365 days lang sa isang taon. Wala na akong oras,” she said.

Bea's announcement comes after she spent almost a month traveling in Europe with her family and boyfriend Dominic Roque.

Some of the stops that Bea went to include Lourdes, France where she prayed for her mom's healing and lit a candle for the victims of Typhoon Paeng, as well as the Milan Cathedral, where she spent a sweet moment with Dominic.

For now, Bea is busy with Start-Up PH, which continues to ramp up as it leads to its conclusion in the next month.
