How to win Sef Cadayona's heart: Let us count the ways...

Now that he’s back in the dating market, girls are wondering what it takes to tug at the heartstrings of Kapuso resident actor and comedian Sef Cadayona.

It would be easy to assume that this highly likable gentleman sets high qualifications for potential partners. Not so, he said, as he shared three simple qualities that he prioritizes in his search for love.

She should be liked by his family
Slightly reflective of Selphie, the popular character that he portrays in Bubble Gang, is the listening ear he has for his mother. Selphie, although having mixed and confused feelings afterwards, is known to sit through witty sermons of his mother Yna Moran.

Sef considers himself as a mama’s boy, thus his mom’s approval of any girl he dates is of utmost importance. This family-oriented guy also honors his dad’s advice, romantic life not excluded.

“Mama’s boy ako eh… (at) kung ano ‘yung gusto ng erpats ko, dun ako,” he shared.

She should enjoy eating
Sef first appearing in an ice cream commercial is apt because he highly enjoys good food.

Eating, for him, is a stress reliever and is his diversion from the crazy and busy schedule that he keeps.

“Kahit mataba, okay lang basta mahilig kumain. Kasi ‘yun ang comfort ko eh. Lalo na pagkatrabaho, sobrang busy, gusto ko lang kumain sa labas,” he said.

She should be funny
Having to crack jokes and make funny faces is second nature to Sef because he’s naturally a blast to have around. If he’s funny on television, people often find him even funnier in person, so it’s important for him to have someone who can keep up with the loads of fun.

He doesn’t have a long list of requirements for future girlfriends, “just as long as they’re funny.”

“Bilang komedyante, ayaw ko naman na boring ‘yung kasama ko… As long as masaya and happy ako,” he added.
