David Licauco and Shaira Diaz, shared some of the best romantic advice for all the hopeless romantics in time for Valentine's Day.

David and Shaira reunite in an upcoming movie titled Without You. This is the second time that they are working together as a love team. They were first paired in the 2019 film Because I love You.

At the press conference of Without You on February 8, Shaira and David shared the realizations while doing the film and gave some of the best romance advice.

According to Shaira, contrary to what most people believe, love has limits.

“Darating sa point na kahit gaano mo kamahal yung tao at kahit gaano mo gusto mag-stay sa tabi niya, mauubos at mauubos ka rin, e,” she said.

She added the importance of keeping enough love for your self “para kayanain mo pa mabuhay kahit na wala siya.”

As for her character in the movie, Ria, the Kapuso Sweetheart describes her as someone who is “grabe magmahal.”

“May pagka-martyr siya na babae, siguro dahil sa pagmamahal niya kay Axel, kaya siya, kahit masakit, nag-i-stay,” she said.

She also noted, “Siguro ganun naman tayong lahat, 'di ba? Kahit na may nagawang mali yung mga mahal natin sa buhay, pero we choose to love, we choose to stay.”

On the other hand, David realized that timing is also important in falling in love or being in love.

“It's not all about emotions. You have to consider yung mga environment, like where you are as of the moment, yung career mo, kung ano yung gusto mo talaga,” he said.

Speaking of his character, David said about his character, “Feeling ko si Axel wasn't ready yet to commit, to be in a relationship na stable and all that.”

The Pambansang Ginoo added, “But then eventually, he realized na mahal pala talaga niya yung babae. Love is a scary thing.”
