Jillian Ward wears Mak Tumang gown on her pre-debut shoot
Abot-Kamay Na Pangarap actress Jillian Ward stuns in her star-inspired midnight blue gown designed by Mak Tumang, who is popularly known for Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray's iconic lava gown.
Recently Jillian shared photos and a video taken by Nice Print Photography, showing her ethereal pre-debut shoot.
“Floating amongst the stars,” she captioned one of her Instagram posts.
In an interview, the Sparkle star shared some details about her upcoming 'engrandeng' birthday party, including the gowns that she will be wearing on her special night.
According to Jillian, she has 2-3 gowns from one of the most renowned fashion designers in the Philippines.
She excitedly shared, “Siguro 2 to 3 gowns po, isa na 'yung suot ko sa pre-debut shoot ko po...”
Jillian also shared the reason why she chose Mak Tumang to create her gowns for her debut.
She said, “Kakaiba po kasi siya [Mak Tumang], sinabi ko lang po agad yung magiging theme ng birthday ko… and alam na niya gagawin. Sobrang trusted ko po kasi si Sir Mak.”
In a separate interview she stated, “Ang tagal ko na rin po talagang ina-eye si Sir Mak kasi super talented po niya ta's ang bait pa po niya and fun fact po, pareho po kaming Kapampangan so siyempre, Kapampangan pride.”
Meanwhile, Jillian first said that the theme for her 18th birthday is unique and out of this world.
She said, “Sobrang konti pa lang po ng gumagawa po ng ganitong theme. Kumbaga sa showbiz industry po, parang wala pa po akong nakikita talagang ganito pong klaseng set up ng debut. Basta po ang goal ko po kasi mag-enjoy po talaga lahat ng guest ko. 'Yung parang hindi po sila mabo-bore, as in enjoy na enjoy po sila…”
