'Stay true to yourself and empower other women to do the same,' Winwyn said.
Winwyn Marquez marked this year's Women's Month with some encouraging words for her daughter, Baby Luna, and her fellow women.
The Kapuso star shared a photo of her and Luna in matching white dresses on her Instagram, which she accompanied with an encouraging caption.
“I want to encourage not only my daughter but all women to pursue their dreams with passion and determination. Don't let anyone discourage you,” Winwyn wrote.
She also urged women to, "Sharpen your skills, face challenges head-on, and don't let social media comparisons affect your self-esteem.”
Winwyn noted how “[a] mother's behavior greatly influences her daughter's actions.”
In turn, she said she feels she has a responsibility to demonstrate strength and show Luna that “she can achieve anything and manage any obstacle.”
The actress also often shares her parenting journey. In one Instagram post, Winwyn highlighted how parenting can be “difficult, but rewarding.”
“Seeing Luna hit milestone after milestone, iba talaga sa pakiramdam kaya lahat worth it,” she said.
Winwyn gave birth to Luna in May 2022.
Luna recently celebrated her 10th month with cute set of photos, which Winwyn also shared on her Instagram.
March is known as Women's Month and International Women's Day is celebrated globally every 8th of March.
