Sam YG and Essa Santos are now officially engaged.
Sam and Essa are known as the couple who are fond of showing their sweetest moments as well as their hilarious antics on their respective social media account. The two announced that they took the next step in their relationship in the first month of 2021.
Sam and Essa's relationship started in May 2018 and the two initially showed their relationship online through discreet posts. Eventually, the couple were able to share their romantic trips, exciting dates, and hilarious moments together.
Then, January 26, 2020, both Sam and Essa shared a glimpse of the former's proposal on their Instagram accounts.
To announce the special moment, Sam wrote a short but sweet caption to define what happened when he proposed to Essa. He said, “Essa YES [ring emoji] #SignedSealedDelivered #ThatsItPansit #SwerteKoLang"
Essa, who works as a pageant executive, wrote about being emotional and shocked when her future husband asked her to be his wife.
She said, “Kung kelan naka pambahay lang...
"I ugly-cried the whole time. Have to say I did not expect this proposal at all--I kinda wish I did para mas prepared ako, but it makes for a great story anyway!
The soon-to-be bride said that she will always say yes to Sam and admitted that she is the luckiest girl.
"It was always gonna be an 'of course,' my love... Thank you for this wonderful-amazing experience. I am truly the luckiest girl! I love you in all ways, always [heart emojis.]"
