A year after losing his partner Jho Rovero, actor Andrew Schimmer found a new partner in life.
Andrew recently shared an update about his newfound love, whom he regards as the person who “restored” him and made him “love the world again.”
Andrew revealed his new relationship through a Facebook post, showing a photo of him kissing her new girlfriend.
He captioned his social media post, “I never thought this day would come. You restored me, [slowly] put me back together. You took away all the pain [and] gave me something [that] made me love the world again...”
He added, “I was in total chaos and darkness before you found me. You brought back the strength in my heart, and lightened up my darkness from within...”
The actor then seemingly hinted about his hope of settling down with his new girlfriend as he said: “I know for some people this is too rushed but if you will allow me, I want to spend the rest of my life with you…”
“Loving you and taking care of you and our children is now my next mission in life. You gave me something really really great...HOPE,” Andrew ended his post.
Andrew's former partner Jho died on December 20, 2022, after suffering from severe asthma that led to cardiac arrest and hypoxemia.
Following that, he wrote that he hated Christmas because of what happened.
Andrew has two kids with Jho.
