GMA News reporter Darlene Cay was caught off guard after Unang Balita anchor Ivan Mayrina poked fun at her while reporting live from Light Rail Transit's "love train' on Valentine's Day.
She was discussing about the LRT-1's special coaches, designed specifically for Love Month. This year's theme is inspired by the three stages of love--dating, engagement, and marriage. It will run until March 12.
Darlene got to interview one of the passengers of the train who was identified as Brandon Cadamayan, 23. According to the interview, he is single and ready to mingle.
She was supposedly ending her report after the interview but curious Ivan can't help but notice Brandon's gaze at the dimple-cheeked reporter.
Ivan then asked to see the entire face of Brandon who was, at that time, wearing an N95 mask. The GMA News anchor said, "Mukhang magandang lalaki si Brandon, naka-mask lang. Tingnan mo kapag nakatanggal ang mask, lalabas ang tikas n'yan."
Darlene seemingly became lost for words after the face reveal, hence Ivan's teasing remark.
The latter joked, "Ang ganda ng ngiti, bagay na bagay. Labas na labas ang dimples mo, Darlene, ha. Ramdam ko ha."
As of writing, the video of the said report has now 27,000 views on Facebook.
