Vicki Belo lists the many wonderful things about Hayden Kho on his birthday

By midnight of the 19th of May, celebrity doctor Vicki Belo listed the many things she's grateful for about husband Hayden Kho as he celebrates his 40th birthday today, May 20.

In the Instagram post, Vicki mentioned that she never imagined being married to Hayden, whom she met on the same day of his birthday some 15 years ago.

She penned, “We met on your birthday, May 20, 2005. Yup! I was God's gift to you. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that we would be married someday. I just thought you were sexy and gorgeous (you still are), but, you have also turned out to be the best partner in life that I could ever have hoped for.

“I have never been so loved and spoiled in my life. You work so hard because you don't want me to be stressed and because you want me to live a long and healthy life.”

She then pointed out two of her prominent love languages that Hayden fills up throughout their relationship --- acts of service and time.

She wrote, “My love languages are acts of service so you massage me three times a week, look silly doing my face gym exercises, wake up at 4 AM to prepare Zoom for me because I'm not a techie. You patiently teach Scarlet math, piano, reading, so all I have to do is play with her.

“You try to shield me from many of the office concerns so I don't get stressed or worried, you've contributed so much to the success of Belo.”

“My other love language is time. I love the way you put your computer and cellphone aside when I enter a room so you can concentrate on spending time with me.”

Vicki concluded the post by saying how she's become more appreciative of Hayden's presence during the COVID-19 pandemic but also advised, “try not to work so hard so that you too will live a long and healthy life.”

“Thank you for bringing our family so close to Jesus Christ. @scarletsnowbelo and I love you so much.”

Vicki and Hayden met in 2005 when the former was judging the Mr and Miss Medicine pageant at the University of Santo Tomas.

In an interview for Hong Kong Tatler, Vicki confessed that Hayden caught her eye at first glance.

She said, “I decided to introduce myself. I found out he was the president of the interns' association of the Makati Medical Centre, as well as Mr. UST and a member of the varsity basketball team. He was a bit of star, really.”

Eventually, she invited Hayden to visit her clinic to learn the ropes of becoming a plastic surgeon and the rest, as they say, is history.

Hayden proposed to Vicki in Houston, Texas in 2011 but due to certain circumstances kept the two apart. They then underwent a lengthy counseling process with the help of spiritual advisor Dr. Ravi Zacharias.

They officially tied the knot in a civil ceremony in Manila in June 2017 and was followed by a religious ceremony in Paris followed by a reception at the famous Palais Garnier in September of the same year.

They have one daughter, Scarlet Snow Belo, who was born on March 3, 2015 ().
