Joyce Pring, Juancho Trivino reveal why they got married early in their relationship

Kapuso couple and Unang Hirit hosts Joyce Pring and Juancho Trivino were less than a year into their relationship when they got married in February 2020.

Even though it seemed early for others, Joyce explained the reason behind it.

“The ultimate thing that made me want to marry my partner was his set of values and beliefs, his character, and his love for God, and also his love for his family,” Joyce shared.

“In the beginning of our relationship, and I know this sounds so bad, probably, but in the beginning of our relationship, before I let Juancho court me, I actually told him that I want to get married with the person I'm gonna be with the next time.

“So if I'm gonna have a boyfriend, I want to see that person as someone that I will marry.

“So if he was in it to like have fun or just like date around, wag na kasi masasayang lang 'yung oras namin parehas.

“So we kind of had the idea of marriage even before going into the relationship. Juancho did say that he also wanted to get married and be with someone that he sees, na parang 'yun din parehas naming ultimate goal.”

Joyce also revealed that they have attended marriage counseling even before they got engaged.

“Some people would say that we did all of these things so quickly, parang we got married so quickly, but I really think that it doesn't matter how long you guys have been together.

“What matters is the quality of the things that you experienced during the time that you were together.”

For Juancho, he already knew that Joyce was the one since the very beginning.

He revealed, “Si Joyce kasi is the first person who accepted me for who I am, for what I have, and for what I can give in a relationship.

“She accepted me as a person. She loves my friends and family, first ko nakakita na sobrang bilis na maka-click with other people.

“I love that about her dahil ramdam ko talaga 'yung genuine love niya and acceptance, not only to me but sa pamilya ko rin, sa mga kaibigan ko.”

Juancho added that by Joyce showing these qualities, he had the freedom to grow in his pace.

“And because of that, I'm free to just be myself around her. Free to just focus on her and not focus on me.

“Alam ko na wala akong pagkukulang sa sarili ko kasi mahal na niya ako as is.

“Mas malaya akong pasayahin niya, mas malaya akong mag-work on myself.

“I feel and I know that I'm growing with her.”
